We have a range of service options to support your needs, from tenancy and respite to emergency care. We also provide Medium Term Accommodation, whilst you find your long-term home. 

We have relationships with local accommodation providers across Australia – so you can have peace of mind knowing your home away from home is safe, comfortable and meets all your requirements.

Need some extra personal touches for your stay or just having a rough time? We can provide full support packages that include meals, laundry, self-care assistance, fun activities and local experiences. You can even bring your own support workers most of the time!

We provide Short Term Accommodation (STA) across Victoria. We are a fully accredited and approved NDIS provider.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is when you live in shared housing with other people or on your own with support from us as a provider.

That support is different depending on your specific needs, but it can include help with:

  • Moving out for the first time
  • Learning to live well with others in a group setting
  • Dealing with the responsibilities of living in your own home
  • Getting ready for the day, eating healthily, and keeping well
  • Completing household tasks

With Blue Star’s SIL supports, you have the opportunity to live in a friendly and caring environment, where your voice is heard and respected.

Short-Term Accommodation (STA)

What is Short-Term Accommodation?

Short-Term Accommodation is designed to give both you and your support network a hard-earned break. It is funding covered by NDIS for support and accommodation away from your usual home, for up to 14 days at time. 

It’s often accessible when your usual carers aren’t available, or to allow you the opportunity to try new surroundings and activities.

STA includes all expenses in a 24-hour period including assistance with daily personal activities, accommodation, food and other activities.
